OmoeKOH Launches N200m Grant for Lagos SMEs

OmoeKOH has initiated a N200 million grant to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Lagos, aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs and fostering innovation. This initiative was unveiled during the inaugural OmoeKOH Wealth Impact Summit held at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Cultural and Creative Arts in Iganmu, where 5,000 youths, including traders and technology enthusiasts, gathered to explore enterprise development opportunities.

The founder, Alhaji Imran Oladimeji Hamzat, emphasized the need to address challenges faced by young Nigerians whose ideas often go unnoticed. The summit included a business pitch competition with 3,000 registrants, from which 25 entrepreneurs were shortlisted.

The winners included David Ogunbanjo from Blanet Africa, who received N5 million, Adelek Lawal from Ummiulkhayr, who received N4 million, and Favour Adelek from Qiqi Farm, who won N3 million. Additionally, participants received laptops and software development tools.

The initiative aims to create an enabling environment for entrepreneurship in Lagos.
