Onanuga Calls for Sanctions Against Kanu's Lawyer Over Protest Participation

Onanuga, a legal practitioner, seeks sanctions against Kanu's lawyer, Ejimakor, for joining a protest in Abuja demanding Kanu's release. Onanuga accuses Ejimakor of professional misconduct, abandoning legal responsibilities, and resorting to extra-legal tactics to influence judicial proceedings.

The protest led by activist Sowore aimed at securing Kanu's freedom, who is currently facing trial on treason charges. The Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) is urged to intervene.

Ejimakor was arrested alongside other protesters at the Police Command Headquarters in Abuja.
