Ngozi Nwosu, a renowned Nollywood actress, disclosed her ordeal with domestic violence during her past marriage, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing women's safety in society. In an interview with actress Ayo Adesanya on the "Auntie Ayo Podcast," Nwosu revealed enduring physical abuse, including during pregnancy, and expressed her stance against the belief that "once beaten, always beaten." She shared her decision to keep the abuse private at the time, shedding light on the challenges faced by women in similar situations.

Nwosu also referenced the tragic death of gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu linked to domestic violence, urging for awareness and support for victims.
