Ondo SSG Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti Resigns for Senate Bid

Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, the current Secretary to the Ondo State Government, has officially resigned from his position to pursue a candidacy for the Ondo Central Senatorial seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

He announced his intention to contest under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a letter addressed to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. In his resignation, Dr.

Fasoranti articulated a deep sense of responsibility and a lifelong commitment to public service, emphasizing his belief in the immense potential of the people of Ondo Central. With over three decades of experience in the health sector and public service, including a significant role at the State House Medical Centre in Abuja, he has risen to the position of Director of Cadre before his retirement in 2024.

Dr. Fasoranti aims to strengthen the capacity of governance and ensure effective representation for the people of Ondo Central, promoting a people-centric approach to leadership and contributing to national development.
