Fatal Car Crash on Lagos Island Claims One Life

A yet-to-be-identified man was killed on Lagos Island in a fatal road traffic crash along the Coastal Road inward Eko Hotel. The incident occurred when the grey Lexus Jeep 350, with registration number LSD 554 KV, reportedly lost control, collided violently with a roadside pole, and subsequently overturned.
According to a statement from Adebayo Taofiq, Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), three other victims were seriously injured. They were extricated from the crash scene with assistance from Good Samaritans and transported to Duck-Yard Hospital for urgent medical attention.
LASTMA operatives quickly mobilized to secure the area and facilitate emergency response, while security personnel from Victoria Island provided additional security.
