OPEC+ Approves Oil Production Increase Amid Gulf Crisis

OPEC+ has approved a slight increase in oil production for the upcoming month, with plans to add 206,000 barrels per day. The formal output quota for May will not fully capture the extent of actions taken by top OPEC nations in light of the Gulf crisis, which has already slowed maritime traffic and could affect member nations' export capabilities.
