Osuntokun Critiques Nigerian Opposition's Irresponsibility

In a recent interview, Osuntokun, who served as a political adviser to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, condemned the actions of opposition parties in Nigeria, labeling them as irresponsible. His comments were in response to the situation involving former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who had written an official letter to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, seeking clarification on a report concerning the importation of 10 kilograms of thallium sulfate, a highly toxic and strictly regulated substance in Nigeria.

Osuntokun described El-Rufai's statement as reckless and accused him of attempting to divert attention from corrupt practices. He further criticized the conduct of opposition party members, emphasizing their unseriousness in addressing national issues.
