Delta Principal's Cup 2025 Kicks Off Sept 18 to Unseat Ogbomro Grammar School

The Delta Principal's Cup organizers have set September 18 as the kickoff date for the quest to unseat Ogbomro Grammar School, the reigning champion. Sponsored by Zenith Bank, the tournament's 2025 edition will see various secondary schools in Delta State compete.

The previous edition saw Ogbomro Grammar School defeat Umutu Secondary School in the final at the Stephen Keshi Stadium. Registration for the competition will take place from September 8 to 12, with the official tournament launch scheduled for September 18, to be attended by the state Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

The preliminary stage, sponsored by Zenith Bank, will take place across the state's Local Government Areas from September 22 to 25, leading up to the kickoff games at 2 pm daily.
