Oshoala's Hat-Trick Sends Al Hilal to Saudi Cup Final

On Thursday, Asisat Oshoala delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a hat-trick as Al Hilal Women defeated Al Qadsiah Women 5-1, securing their spot in the final of the Saudi Women’s Cup with a 7-2 aggregate victory. Oshoala, a six-time African Women’s Player of the Year, continued her impressive form by netting twice in the first half and completing her hat-trick in the 73rd minute.

She opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a superb long-range strike, assisted by Kheira Hamraoui, and just two minutes later, Jéssica Silva doubled the lead following a swift counter-attack orchestrated by Mobarak Ajara Nchout. Although Al Qadsiah pulled one back in the 42nd minute, Oshoala restored Al Hilal's cushion shortly after.

She later won a penalty, which Ghizlan Chebbak converted in stoppage time to seal the emphatic victory. Al Hilal will face either Al Ula Women or Al Nassr Women in the final.

Oshoala joined Al Hilal on a two-year deal until 2025.
