Osimhen Confident Galatasaray Will Retain Süper Lig Title

Victor Osimhen, a key player for Galatasaray, has voiced his confidence in the team's ability to retain the Süper Lig title this season, despite suffering a disappointing 4-1 defeat against Samsunspor on Saturday. The match, held at Samsun 19 Mayıs Stadium, saw Galatasaray initially take the lead through a goal assisted by Osimhen, but they ultimately fell short as Samsunspor equalized and took control in the second half.

Galatasaray's goalkeeper, Okan Kocuk, was sent off, allowing Samsunspor to secure the win with two additional goals. Following the match, Osimhen acknowledged the team's shortcomings but insisted that their title ambitions remain intact.

He emphasized the importance of winning their upcoming home game against Antalyaspor to maintain pressure on their rivals. Currently, Osimhen has scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 21 league games this season, along with seven goals and three assists in 10 UEFA Champions League matches.
