Osimhen Boosts Galatasaray's Popularity in Africa, Middle East

Ibrahim Hatipoğlu, the vice president of Galatasaray, stated that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has greatly enhanced the club's popularity in Africa and the Middle East. Following Osimhen's transfer from SSC Napoli for a historic €75 million permanent deal last summer, Galatasaray has become a household name in these regions.

Speaking before the Turkish Super Lig match against Trabzonspor at Papara Park, Hatipoğlu emphasized that Osimhen's influence has significantly boosted the club's global recognition and popularity. He noted that the interest in Galatasaray has surged, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, attributing this growth largely to Osimhen's impact.
