Nigerian Footballers Mourn Anthony Joshua Crash After Super Eagles Win

Nigerian footballers Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, and Bright Osayi-Samuel expressed deep sadness following a fatal road accident involving British-Nigerian boxing icon Anthony Joshua in Ogun State. The crash occurred on Monday, damaging Joshua's Lexus SUV and injuring him slightly.

The incident came after Nigeria's 3-1 victory over Uganda in the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Osimhen described the incident as heartbreaking, while Ndidi shared the team's sense of loss.

Joshua, a former heavyweight champion, is reported to be in stable condition after the accident.
