Osimhen Returns, Galatasaray Falls to Genclerbirligi 2-0

Victor Osimhen returned to action for Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup quarter-final against Genclerbirligi after recovering from an arm injury that sidelined him for four matches. He made a late cameo appearance in the 78th minute, replacing Renato Nhaga.

Despite Osimhen's introduction and Galatasaray's efforts to find an equalizer, they faced a shock 2-0 defeat at home. Genclerbirligi took the lead early in the second half when Firatcan Uzum capitalized on a loose ball inside the box, scoring in the 51st minute.

Galatasaray pushed forward in search of a response, with Ahm Kutucu forcing a sharp save from the Genclerbirligi goalkeeper and Wilfried Singo having a goal ruled offside. The match was settled seven minutes from time when Adama Traore doubled the visitors' lead with a close-range rebound, silencing the home crowd.

This defeat ended Galatasaray's impressive run of 10 unbeaten matches in all competitions and brought their cup defense to an abrupt halt.
