Osimhen Returns to Training as Galatasaray Pursues Title

Victor Osimhen has resumed full training with Galatasaray as the team intensifies its title chase in the Turkish league. Osimhen suffered an arm injury on March 18 during a UEFA Champions League playoff against Liverpool, which limited him to non-contact sessions last week.

The 27-year-old striker is expected to reach full fitness ahead of the match against Fenerbahçe on April 26. Galatasaray's head coach, Okan Buruk, has already discussed Osimhen's reintegration into the squad as he continues his rehabilitation.

The team has dropped five points in their last three league matches, winning only once and currently sits at the top of the league with 68 points, two points clear of Fenerbahçe and four points ahead of Trabzonspor. Osimhen has missed 11 competitive matches this season, during which the team lost 16 points, raising concerns about their title race.

He joined Galatasaray for €75 million last summer, scoring 12 league goals and providing four assists in 19 appearances.
