Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen marked his return from the Africa Cup of Nations by scoring his 50th goal for Galatasaray in a 3-1 victory over Fatih Karagümrük in the Turkish Süper Lig. Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray in the summer of 2024, has been in impressive form, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances last season.

In this match, he scored his 50th goal for the club and his 13th goal of the current season. Galatasaray took the lead early through Gabriel Sara, but Fatih Karagümrük equalized before Sara completed his brace.

Osimhen then sealed the win with a goal in the 55th minute. The victory keeps Galatasaray at the top of the league table, four points clear of rivals Fenerbahçe with a game in hand.
