Osimhen to Compete Against Salah and Hakimi for 2025 CAF POTY Award

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced Victor Osimhen, Mohamed Salah, and Achraf Hakimi as the finalists for the 2025 Men's Player of the Year award. Osimhen's recent standout performances include a hat-trick in the UEFA Champions League and goals in Nigeria's World Cup qualifiers.

Salah, a two-time African award winner, contributed significantly to Liverpool's success, while Hakimi helped Paris Saint-Germain win the UEFA Champions League. The winner will succeed Ademola Lookman as the best player in Africa.

The selection process involved a committee of technical development members, coaches, former players, and media representatives.
