APC Stakeholders in Osun State Back Omisore for 2026 Governorship Bid

In Osun State, 332 APC ward chairmen and councillors have endorsed Otunba Iyiola Omisore as the party's gubernatorial candidate for the 2026 election. The stakeholders believe Omisore's experience in administration and politics would give the APC an advantage.

They highlighted his grassroots consultation plans under the "Omisore Agenda" and urged him to prioritize empowerment if elected. Former House of Representatives member Ajibola Famurewa praised Omisore's reliability and urged ward chairmen to mobilize support.

Similarly, former Commissioner of Education Folorunsho Bamisayemi expressed high regard for Omisore's leadership. The move aims to consolidate support behind Omisore as the consensus candidate for the APC in Osun State.
