APC Disqualifies Iyiola Omisore and Six Others in Osun Guber Primaries

The APC screening committee in Abuja disqualified former APC National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, and six other aspirants from the Osun State governorship primary due to irregular nomination processes and failure to provide proof of sponsorship by at least five fully registered financial party members in their local government areas. The committee, led by Chief Obinna Uzoh, concluded that the disqualified aspirants, including Omisore, did not meet the mandatory nomination requirements as stipulated in the APC constitution.
