Keyamo Confirms Rescue of Adelabu's Family from Kidnappers

Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, confirmed the rescue of the younger sister and children of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, who were kidnapped. The Nigeria Police conducted an operation on Saturday night, resulting in the death of two suspects during a gun duel.

Two firearms were recovered from the scene. Keyamo stated that the victims were kidnapped around 7:30 AM on June 3, 2026, while dropping children off at school.

He expressed gratitude to the police for their swift action and assured that other victims would be returned home soon.
