Bayelsa PDP Reacts to Governor Diri's Resignation, Affirms Party Structure Intact

The Bayelsa State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) responded to Governor Douye Diri's resignation, stating that the party's structure remains solid. Governor Diri resigned from the PDP after announcing his intention to contest for the party's presidential ticket in 2023.

The PDP accepted his resignation with respect and appreciation for his leadership. The party assured its members that the structure within the Bayelsa chapter will remain unified.
