Bola Oyebamiji Emerges as APC Governorship Candidate in Osun State

Bola Oyebamiji has been selected as the APC governorship candidate in Osun State after a consensus decision by seven aspirants during the party's primary in Osogbo. The motion to adopt Oyebamiji as the consensus candidate was moved by Kunle Rasheed and seconded by Senator Babajide Omoworare.

The election committee chairman, Okpebholo, ratified Oyebamiji's candidacy after a voice vote by 1,660 delegates. Oyebamiji expressed gratitude to party leaders like Bola Tinubu and Gboyega Oyetola for their support.

The APC aims for victory in the August 2026 governorship election in Osun.
