Governor Oyebanji Celebrates First Lady Oluremi Tinubu's 66th Birthday

On September 21, 2026, Ekiti State Governor Mr Biodun Oyebanji congratulated Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, on her 66th birthday. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, Oyebanji celebrated Tinubu's virtues and impact since she assumed the role of First Lady in 2023.

He described her as a compassionate leader who has positively influenced many lives and a pillar of support for President Bola Tinubu. Oyebanji acknowledged her extensive contributions as a teacher, politician, and distinguished senator.

He highlighted the achievements of her Renewed Hope Initiative, which has provided support in education, poverty alleviation, and empowerment for vulnerable groups, including orphans and the elderly. He noted that beneficiaries from Ekiti State have received scholarships, financial support for female farmers, and assistance for widows and senior citizens.

Oyebanji also mentioned a recent visit by Tinubu, during which she empowered traders and inaugurated an ICT Centre at Ekiti State University.
