Ekiti State Achieves Top Fiscal Transparency Rating

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji commended the citizens of Ekiti for the state's commendable rating in fiscal transparency, as it secured the first position in the fiscal transparency league table for four consecutive quarters in 2025. This achievement places Ekiti among eight states that rank highest in fiscal transparency for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Governor Oyebanji stated that this recognition reflects the administration's commitment to its development agenda centered on accountability and transparency. The budget report released earlier in the week demonstrated excellence across key transparency indicators, including the medium-term expenditure framework, approved budget, quarterly budget implementation report, audit financial statements, and procurement fiscal data repository.

The governor emphasized the importance of maintaining leadership in fiscal transparency and pledged to uphold the principles of fiscal discipline as part of the administration's development agenda, which is built around six pillars.
