Nigeria's Finance Minister to Lead Forum in Bangkok

The 9th Foreign Investment Network (FIN) Banking on Emerging Markets Forum will take place on October 12, 2026, at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit in Bangkok, Thailand. Key participants include Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Prof Taiwo Oyedele; Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, Zacch Adedeji; and President of the African Development Bank, Dr Sidi Tah.

The forum aims to mobilize private capital, create jobs, strengthen financial resilience, and harness technology for inclusive growth, coinciding with the IMF–World Bank Annual Meetings. Other notable discussants include Dr Iyabo Masha, Director of the G-24 Secretariat, and Mr Prakash P.

Hinduja, Chairman of Hinduja Group (Europe). The agenda will cover various topics, including economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development.

Additionally, the FIN Emerging Markets Leadership Awards 2026 will recognize leaders in finance, investment, and sustainable development, with Dr Iyabo Masha leading the presentation.
