Oyo State Gears Up for Oba Ladoja's Coronation as Olubadan

Oyo State prepares for a week-long coronation ceremony for former governor Oba Rashidi Ladoja as Olubadan. The enstoolment committee, chaired by Chief Bayo Oyero, plans various activities starting with an interdenominational service and a Cultural Day.

The coronation lecture by Prof Toyin Falola and a Mega Praise worship will precede the official ceremony at Mapo Hall. Oba Ladoja succeeds Oba Olakulehin, who passed away in July 2025.

The elaborate program aims to honor and celebrate the new Olubadan's ascension to the throne, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Ibadan.
