Nottingham Forest's Aina Expected to Recover for Chelsea Clash

Nottingham Forest's head coach, Vitor Pereira, offered a positive update regarding the fitness of Nigerian defender Ola Aina ahead of the crucial Premier League clash against Chelsea on Monday. Aina was substituted in the 75th minute during Nottingham Forest's 1-0 victory over Aston Villa in the UEFA Europa League semifinals due to a rash challenge from Villa's defender, Luca Digne.

Although Aina's injury raised serious concerns, Pereira stated during a pre-match press conference that Aina's recovery time is promising, and he could feature in the upcoming match. Pereira expressed hope that Aina's injury is not serious and that he will return within a few days.

Nottingham Forest currently sits five points above the relegation zone and needs to secure points in their remaining four matches to guarantee safety for the next season. Aina is also expected to return for the second leg of the Europa League semifinals against Aston Villa next Thursday.
