PDP Chieftain Calls for Scrapping Anti-Crime Agencies Over Controversial Pardons

PDP Chieftain Eze has urged for the scrapping of crucial anti-crime agencies like EFCC, NDLEA, and ICPC following President Tinubu's contentious pardons for convicted criminals. Eze condemned the move, stating it undermines the rule of law and renders statutory institutions worthless.

The controversial pardons included beneficiaries convicted of drug trafficking, illegal mining, and murder, sparking outrage and concerns about potential repercussions on crime rates in Nigeria. The PDP member also criticized Tinubu's administration for bringing shame to the ruling APC party and the country as a whole.
