PDP Faction Seeks Obasanjo's Support to Oust APC in 2023 Elections

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) faction, headed by Kabiru Turaki, visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo to seek his support and guidance in leading the party to victory in the 2023 elections. Turaki, along with party leaders like Babangida Aliyu and Jonah Jang, aims to dislodge the ruling APC due to alleged incompetence.

They acknowledged Obasanjo's experience and sought inspiration from him to strengthen democracy. The visit was part of efforts to build a strong institution within the PDP and challenge the current government.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan also praised Obasanjo's contributions to democracy.
