PDP Holds 102nd NEC Meeting In Abuja

The PDP recently held its 102nd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, with key party figures, governors, and stakeholders in attendance. The meeting, crucial ahead of the 2023 general election, aimed to discuss important issues, including the report of the National Zoning Committee for the upcoming national convention.

A party insider revealed that the session was considered a pivotal moment for the PDP to position itself as a credible opposition and prepare for victory in the next poll. The meeting also addressed disciplinary actions against members accused of misconduct, such as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike and former Benue State governor Samuel Ortom.

Additionally, the party's forthcoming national convention in November in Ibadan, Oyo State, will see the election of new national officers.
