PDP Holds Successful Ward Congresses in Osun

The PDP in Osun State conducted ward congresses across 214 electoral wards in 25 local government areas. Dr.

Samuel Omotosho, the chairman of the Ward Congress Committee, revealed that the purpose was to elect ward executives to oversee the congresses. The congresses aimed to fill vacancies in ward leadership positions and ensure democratic processes within the party.

The party cited the need to consolidate the work of Governor Ademola Adeleke and emphasized the importance of grassroots participation in party affairs. The congresses were seen as a step towards strengthening the party's structure and promoting inclusivity in decision-making processes at the local level.
