PDP Secretary Confirms Withdrawal of Police Escorts Following Presidential Directive

Anyanwu expressed support for the policy, urging the government to prioritize elder statesmen and national officials' security. The directive aims to free up resources to enhance national security, as stated by the presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.
