PDP Dismisses APC's Claim to Reclaim Plateau State

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State has dismissed the claim by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, that the APC will reclaim the state in the 2027 general election. Yilwatda expressed confidence in the APC's return to power in Plateau, which the party lost to the PDP in 2023.

The PDP responded by labeling Yilwatda's remarks as "absurd," emphasizing the party's resilience and commitment to serving the people. The Plateau PDP Publicity Secretary, Jonathan Amande, highlighted the party's solid structure and governance record under Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, asserting confidence in retaining power in 2027.

The PDP reiterated its dedication to upholding fairness, accountability, and service delivery in the state.
