Shina Peller Commends Oyo State at 50, Applauds Governor Makinde's Reforms

Former House of Representatives member Shina Peller congratulated Oyo State on its 50th anniversary and commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his institutional reforms. Peller praised the state's historical significance and role as a beacon of excellence in politics, education, commerce, and culture.

He emphasized the collective progress of the people across various zones in Oyo State, including iconic landmarks like the Brown Roof in Ibadan, the resource-rich Oke-Ogun, the Royal Plains of Oyo, and vibrant communities like Ogbomoso and Ibarapa. Peller highlighted the state's resilience, unity, and progress over the past fifty years.

He specifically lauded Makinde's leadership, citing achievements in infrastructure development, civil service welfare, youth inclusion, and government institutional reforms. Peller also commended Makinde for providing tangible opportunities for the younger generation to participate in governance and create new leaders through initiatives like the Omituntun program.

Additionally, Peller mentioned the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF) in Egypt in November 2026.
