Fayose Critiques Tinubu Over Economic Hardship in Nigeria

Nigerian businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose criticized President Bola Tinubu regarding the worsening economic conditions in Nigeria. In a video posted on his official Facebook page on Sunday, Fayose commented on the wedding of Nigerian content creators Peller and Jarvis, noting that the number of area boys begging for food exceeded that of the invited guests.

He linked this observation to the widespread hunger affecting the nation. Fayose condemned Tinubu for lacking an effective economic strategy to address the hunger crisis, referencing a statement made by the President claiming that hunger has existed since before his birth.

Fayose argued that hunger has intensified under Tinubu's leadership, stating, "Hungry man in Nigeria is no longer angry, we are too hungry to be angry." He criticized the current administration, led by the All Progressives Congress (APC), for failing to alleviate the suffering of the populace as elections approach.
