Champz, Wizkid's Son, Drops New Single 'Groove
Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Champz, the son of award-winning artist Wizkid, released his new single "Groove" on September 25. The song quickly gained attention online, especially after streamer Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, reacted to the post with a clapping GIF.
Peller is recognized as a vocal supporter of a rival rapper, which led to mixed reactions from fans in the comments section. Champz's single features his signature laid-back sound and conversational delivery, and it was made available on major streaming platforms early on the release day.
Champz had previously made his official debut with the EP "Champions Arrival" in November 2025. The release of "Groove" and Peller's reaction have sparked conversations among fans regarding loyalty and rivalries in the music scene.
