Peller, a Nigerian TikTok content creator, became embroiled in a social media incident after he gifted ₦500,000 to a young man during a livestream, believing him to be a supporter. The young man had claimed he needed the money for school fees and house rent.

However, it was later revealed that he had been creating mocking content about Peller and his wife, Jarvis. Upon learning of this, Peller went live again, expressing his frustration and demanding the money be returned.

By September 28, 2026, a video surfaced on X featuring the young man and his father, who publicly apologized to Peller for their previous insults. The timing of their apology, occurring only after receiving the money and Peller's demand for a refund, drew attention and irony from social media users.
