Pep Guardiola has confirmed his exit from Manchester City, effective summer 2024, marking the end of his ten-year reign. Guardiola joined Manchester City in July 2016 and led the club to win 20 major trophies, including six Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, three FA Cups, and five League Cups.

Despite stepping down from his managerial role, he will remain associated with the City Football Group as a global ambassador, providing technical advice and supporting various projects. In a reflective statement, Guardiola expressed gratitude for his time at the club, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and community.

He recalled significant moments, including the Manchester Arena attack and the COVID-19 pandemic, which highlighted the club's strength and unity. Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak praised Guardiola's impact, stating that his legacy would be assessed by future historians, while CEO Ferran Soriano acknowledged the privilege of working alongside him.
