Peter Obi Joins African Democratic Congress in Anambra

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and a presidential candidate, officially picked up his membership card for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) during a flag-off ceremony held in Anambra State. The event, which took place on a Saturday, attracted a significant number of party members and supporters from across the state.

Obi's decision to join the ADC comes amid earlier speculation about a possible return to the Labour Party. Additionally, he has declared his intent to contest in the 2027 presidential election.

Despite facing discouragement from the current ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Obi remains undeterred in his political ambitions.
