Peter Obi Slams Tinubu for ‘Taking Joy in Travelling to Foreign Countries at The Slightest Excuse’

Tinubu attended the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development in Japan and had a state visit to Brazil, reportedly at the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

Obi condemned Tinubu for traveling abroad at a time when the nation is facing challenges. In response, a supporter of Tinubu, Reno Omokri, criticized Obi for his comments.

Obi accused Tinubu of not prioritizing the nation's issues and wearing celebratory attire instead of mourning clothes. The criticism comes amid ongoing violence in Yelwata, Benue state.
