Peter Obi Visits Isaac Fayose Amid Controversy

On Saturday, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), visited prominent supporter Isaac Fayose at his residence in Abuja. This visit followed a controversial meeting that Fayose had with Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, which sparked criticism regarding Fayose's alleged financial compromise.

A viral video showed Fayose meeting with Seyi Tinubu and popular businessman Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest, where they offered prayers for President Bola Tinubu. In response to the backlash, Fayose condemned the allegations and emphasized his sacrifices for Obi's presidential ambitions in 2023.

During the visit, Obi engaged in light-hearted conversation with Fayose and addressed the online attacks, suggesting that those behind the criticism were not genuine supporters but hired individuals aiming to discredit them.
