Petralon Energy Appoints Augustin Ekeigwe as COO

Petralon Energy has officially appointed Augustin Ekeigwe as its Chief Operating Officer, a move that signifies a strategic enhancement in the company’s operational leadership. This appointment is particularly timely as Petralon Energy enters an intensive phase of product delivery at its Daw Island field.

Earlier this year, the company increased production at Daw Island to approximately 4,800 barrels of oil per day following the startup of its second production asset, the Bonni Oil and Gas Terminal, located roughly 30 kilometers away. Ekeigwe brings 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry across Europe and West Africa.

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, he will be responsible for operational execution across the company’s asset portfolio, with a direct focus on safe, efficient, and disciplined product delivery while continuing to scale operations.
