PINL Deepens Collaboration with NNPC to Achieve 2.5mbpd Output Target by 2026

Petroleum Industry of Nigeria Limited (PINL) is intensifying its partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) to help Nigeria reach its goal of producing 2.5 million barrels of crude oil per day by 2026. PINL is focusing on enhancing surveillance along the Eastern Corridor Tran Niger Pipeline to align with the government's vision.

Dr. Akpo Mezeh, the General Manager of Community and Stakeholder Relations at PINL, emphasized the importance of collaboration with security agencies to ensure the target output is achieved while maintaining zero infractions.

Local leaders in Bayelsa State, such as Dr. Bubaray Dakolo and Dr.

Joshua Igbugburu, have urged the government to prioritize community development, peace-building, and protection of oil pipelines to deter vandalism and ensure affordable petroleum products for host communities.
