Super Eagles Draw 2-2 with Poland in Friendly Match

In an international friendly match held at PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, Nigeria's Super Eagles faced Poland, resulting in a 2-2 draw. The match took place on the night of the event, where Nigeria initially took the lead in the 23rd minute through Terem Moffi, who scored after a well-executed move involving captain Wilfred Ndidi and Moses Simon.

However, Poland equalized just before halftime with Kacper Potulski scoring in the 45th minute. In the second half, Nigeria regained the lead in the 77th minute when Paul Onuachu converted a penalty awarded after a VAR review.

Despite Nigeria's efforts, Poland equalized again in stoppage time with a goal from Przemysław Wiśniewski. This draw extended Nigeria's unbeaten run to 11 matches in regular time over the past two years.

The Super Eagles will next focus on an upcoming friendly against Portugal as they prepare for the AFCON 2027 qualifiers starting in September.
