Polaris Bank Trains Katsina Students on Financial Literacy

On June 9, 2026, Polaris Bank organized a financial literacy training program for 90 students and 10 teachers at the Community Day Secondary School in Tsaski Yan Albasa, Charanchi Local Government Area, Katsina State. This initiative was part of the bank's efforts to promote financial education and responsible money management among young people, coinciding with Global Money Week.

Kayode Lawal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Polaris Bank, emphasized the importance of equipping youth with financial knowledge early in life to foster responsible financial behavior. The program included practical lessons on saving, budgeting, and responsible spending.

Dahiru Tukur, representing the bank, engaged students in discussions about financial responsibility and the impact of today's financial choices on future success. The training featured interactive sessions and educational materials, aiming to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world financial decision-making, thereby contributing to broader financial literacy and inclusion efforts across Nigeria.
