Sokoto Police Arrest 'Sai Malam' Gang Leaders and Notorious Bandits in Security Operation

The Sokoto State Police Command has successfully apprehended key members of the 'Sai Malam' criminal network, notorious for bandit operations. The arrests were made in Wamakko Local Government Area, with suspects identified as Abdulrazak Salihu and Habibu Sahabi.

The police recovered various items, including fake currency, weapons, and charm items. Investigations revealed the involvement of other gang members, with efforts ongoing to track down and arrest them.

Additionally, the police disrupted banditry and extortion activities in Silam Yabo Local Government Area, leading to the arrest of more suspects linked to kidnapping and illegal levies.
