Police Arrest Three Suspects Over Gruesome Murder of Woman, Six Children in Kano

The Kano State Police Command has apprehended three suspects linked to the heinous killing of a woman and her six children in Dorayi Chiranchi, Kano Municipal. The suspects, identified as Umar Auwalu, Isyaku Yakubu, and Yakubu Abdulaziz, were arrested following an intelligence-led operation.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Auwalu, the nephew of the deceased woman, confessed to being the mastermind behind the attack. The police recovered incriminating items from the suspects, including blood-stained clothes, mobile phones belonging to the victims, and dangerous weapons.

The suspects are set to be charged in court after the conclusion of the probe.
