Jigawa Police Launch Constable Recruitment Screening

The Jigawa State Police Command has initiated the screening process for constable recruitment, as disclosed by spokesperson Shiisu Lawan. The screening will take place from March 9 to April 18, 2026, at the police state headquarters in Dutse.

Applicants are advised to check their status and print required documents via the recruitment portal. They must arrive on their scheduled date with an invitation slip and adhere to a strict dress code of white canvas shoes, white t-shirts, white shorts, and white stockings.

Required documents include a national identification number printout, O-level certificate, birth certificate, age declaration, local government state of origin certificate, trade test results, guarantor's form, and passport photographs. Dahiru Muhammad Lawan, the state commissioner of police, emphasized that the recruitment process is free and urged applicants to report any demands for money.

He encouraged full cooperation to ensure a smooth screening exercise.
