Kwara Police Pursue Conoil Truck Crew in Student's Death

The police in Kwara State are actively pursuing the driver and motor boy of a Conoil truck in connection with the death of Sheu, a student at Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. Sheu went missing on a Friday after borrowing a motorcycle from his brother to buy clothes for his side business.
His family discovered his body on a bridge in Oko-Olowo after it had been initially classified as unidentified and buried. Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Ojo Adekimi, confirmed the ongoing efforts to arrest the truck crew.
The incident occurred near Government Secondary School in Ilorin. A relative reported that Sheu's motorcycle was later found at Kulende Police Station.
The family raised concerns when Sheu did not return home, and an unidentified person answered his phone when called. A tricycle operator named Basit, who allegedly witnessed the incident, transported Sheu to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, where he was declared dead.
Basit has been arrested and admitted to handing the body over to the truck driver, but claimed ignorance of its subsequent whereabouts.
