POMR Criticizes Deji Adeyanju's Comments on Peter Obi

Idris Zekeri Jnr, the spokesperson for Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR), responded to comments made by human rights activist Deji Adeyanju, who claimed he is "bigger than Peter Obi." Adeyanju cited his achievements and sacrifices as a human rights activist to support his statement, questioning Obi's contributions to democracy. In a statement posted on X, Zekeri described Adeyanju's remarks as unreasonable and reflective of poor judgment.

He emphasized the significant age difference between the two, suggesting that if Peter Obi had married early, Adeyanju could be his son. Zekeri pointed out that Adeyanju graduated in 2022, asserting that there is no basis for comparing their achievements.

He concluded by stating that while political discourse is welcome, it should not descend into unreasonable comparisons.
