Portugal's Martinez Updates Team Ahead of Nigeria Clash

Portugal's national football team coach, Roberto Martinez, held a pre-match press conference to discuss team news ahead of their international friendly against Nigeria scheduled for June 10. Martinez confirmed that Manchester City right-back Matheus Nunes is unfit to train and will be absent for the upcoming match against Chile.

He expressed hope that Nunes would be fit for the second game against Nigeria. Additionally, former Barcelona and Chelsea star João Félix will undergo a late fitness test to determine his availability for the match.

Martinez indicated that the situation regarding Félix is different and feels positive about his chances of playing. The friendly against Nigeria follows Portugal's match against Chile, which is set for Saturday.
